Continuation on the Co teacher

Mr Alvarado was a special education co teacher in my teacher assignment's class. He mainly focused on two students but to keep those two students from sticking out like a sore thumb, he helped a few other kids.

He doesnt tell her how to teach but she DOES have to work around him, that if one of the students are behind he must take time helping thus slightly interuppting. I actually find it alot easier to have a Co teacher than to do it alone, but it is do able but it would be better for the student because those teachers are there for them while, if I was the teacher, would have to focus on the WHOLE class.

But I wouldnt mind a being a special education teacher. :)

Yesterday I went to my new teacher assignment, Ms. Nappier. She teaches 6th graders for the first period and then 8th graders for the next period. In the 6th grade class there was a Special Education teacher that was Co teaching, His name is Mr. Alvarado. Anyways, I basically observed the classes, and didnt really participate much.

I found out, amusingly, that the 8th graders are much more lively and respectful than the 6th graders, because when they were each asked to say good morning the little ones barely were audible but the older kids practically yelled it at me. :) And about the respectfulness in the younger class, they couldnt stop talking with each other and joking around few kids even got sent out, but when the elder kids were in class they were silent and helpful.

None-the-less I enjoyed the classes and cant wait for next week.
